Babuline Pharma Pvt. Ltd. (“BPPL”) markets a range of herbal, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and baby care cosmetic products both in India and overseas. Our signature product is ‘Babuline Gripe Water’ that was launched back in 1928. Our 97-year old gripe water is a pediatric product that is given to newborns and infants to help with colic, indigestion and gas.
Our flagship product, Babuline Gripe Water, was first introduced in 1928 and has remained a household name for generations. With a legacy spanning over 97 years, Babuline Gripe Water continues to provide gentle and effective relief for colic, indigestion, and gas in newborns and infants.
Incorporated in 1981, BPPL has over four decades of experience in pharmaceutical distribution, having partnered with some of the most reputed Indian and multinational companies as a Carrying and Forwarding (C&F) Agent and Distributor. Our extensive distribution operations are managed from a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Kalher, Bhiwandi, strategically located just outside Mumbai.

BPPL’s foundation is rooted in the legacy of our group company, B. A. & Brothers (Bombay) Pvt. Ltd. (BAB), established in 1912. For over a century, BAB played a significant role in pharmaceutical distribution and was responsible for the marketing of Babuline Gripe Water until BPPL’s formation. In April 2015, BAB concluded its remarkable 103-year journey in distribution with the sale of its operations.

Bharat Oza / Managing Director
Bharat Oza started working with the company in 1969. Bharat completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai, India, and is a certified Chartered Accountant having completed the course offered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Currently, Bharat oversees the finance and overall administration of the company.
Bhadresh Oza / Director
Bhadresh Oza started working with the company in 1976. Bhadresh completed his Pharmacy degree from Manipal University in Karnataka, India. Currently, Bhadresh oversees the production activity of all Babuline products.
Chanakya Oza / Director
Chanakya Oza started working with the company in 2008. Chanakya received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, U.S.A. in 2001. After graduation, Chanakya worked with Merrill Lynch in New York in their Investment Banking Division from 2001 to 2007. Currently, Chanakya is responsible for business development and oversees the day-to-day operations
Dr. Kamlesh Oza / Director
Dr. Kamlesh Oza started working with the company in 1986. Dr. Kamlesh obtained his Pharmacy degree from Manipal University in Karnataka, India and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Ohio State University, U.S.A. Currently, Dr. Kamlesh is not actively involved with the daily operations of the Company but remains a member of the Board of Directors.
